It has become obvious that I am a layorphile. I love putting sounds and riffs and lines on top of each other and building and building and building. I want songs to be a constant crescendo. I recently saw a band that did this very well. They are called Loney, Dear. I still have no idea what that name means. No, that's not a typo. It's not supposed to be "Lonely".
I came up with another name for that kind of music. I call it Promised Land music, because it reminds me of the end of a movie when the protagonist finally makes it, finally gets the girl, finally changes his life, finally brings down a dictatorship, finally gets there, etc.
When I'm feeling down or just bored, I start writing one of those songs. Here's one I recently started, using Fruity Loops.

I've been hearing some skipping in the songs that I uploaded, but I can't tell if it's just on my end or if the skipping is actually in the file. If you're getting skipping, let me know so I can yell at my computer.

I finally uploaded my song, Potentiality. For those of you that don't already know about it, it is a song that I recorded, edited, and produced professionally with my music teacher (using mainly Sonar). I then went to a studio, sang it a billion times until it was right, and helped with the final editing.

Note the lack of plural in the title due to the lack of people that actually read my blog. At least I'm self-aware regarding lack of followers. Hopefully, though, I'll be able to attract more people.
Anyway, it's been quite a while since I've posted. This is mainly due to my preoccupation with college applications, which are now about 99% finished. As soon as they are completely finished, I plan on dedicating a lot of time to music, including my own stuff and my future/current/half/imaginary band's stuff (though I might make a separate blog for the latter).
I also want to make this blog as enjoyable and convenient as possible for you. So, if you have any suggestions, do not hesitate to comment either on the blog or in an email to me! However, I haven't really decided what email address I want to use for this blog, so...just leave comments for now.
One of the main things I want comments about is how the actual music is presented on the blog. Is the drop-down menu at the top good? Would you prefer songs embedded in the posts instead? Both? Or, of course, any other option that I haven't thought of. Please let me know =)
Also, if you have even the tiniest sliver of interest in my music and my blog, please pass that on to your friends! And tell them to comment! Nothing inspires me more to post than the knowledge that people will actually read it. If you have any suggestions about things you'd like me to post about, don't hesitate to let me know!
I've got some more stuff to upload, but until I decide exactly how I want to display my music on the site, I'm going to hold off. That is, unless I'm incapable of making a decision soon. In that case, I'll just upload them using the current system.
